Evaluation of transport investments within Structural Funds

Scope of the project

ECORYS Polska, as a member of a consortium, with ECORYS Nederland as a leader, has realised a contract commissioned by European Committee DG Regional Development between September 2005 – September 2006. Our tasks were to elaborate on a detailed report about transport needs in Poland, transport strategy and such issues as legal, administrative and financial obstacles for improvement of transport infrastructure.

The report included an analysis of the influence of planned transport investments on regional development, covering several economic simulation models which estimated influence of different investment strategies under given situations.
