NGO Fund
Scope of the project
The Non-Governmental Organisations Fund (NGO Fund) has been set within the Financial Mechanisms and intended for the non-governmental organisations to complete non-profit activities which contribute to reducing economic and social disproportions within the EEA as well as increasing the role of the civil society in Poland and increasing cooperation between Poland and the Donor States.
ECORYS Polska is an operator of two lots of the Fund - Lot II – Environmental protection and sustainable development, together with Lot III – Equal opportunities and social integration.
In work at Lot II ECORYS Polska acts in consortium with Komunalkredit Public Consulting GmbH.
In work at Lot III ECORYS Polska acts in consortium with ECOTEC Research & Consulting Ltd and ECORYS Nederland B.V.
The Operators’ task is to distribute the means for the non-governmental organizations. The Operators are to create the criteria of applications selection, grant awarding procedures, reporting instructions along with a description and a plan of activities which will contribute to a correct disposition of grants among the Polish Non-Governmental Organisations.
Services:
- creating procedures for project selection
- creating procedures for awarding grants
- creating guidelines connected with reporting
- receiving and assessing applications to the Fund
- preparing and signing agreements with the beneficiaries
- describing and planning activities which will help to correctly allocate the grants
Results:
- A clear and detailed Procedures Handbook has been prepared. It was well received among the beneficiaries.
- W have gained beneficiaries’ recognition for rapid and professional help in problematic issues connected with applying to the Fund.
Project budget: 37,8 million EUR.
