Mateusz Halicki, PhD

Managing Director 

With experience gained in international companies and both non-governmental and public sector, Mateusz Halicki began his career at Ecorys Polska in EU projects division. He was successful in implementing and completing multiple national projects. His knowledge of the requirements of the current market and the necessity to cooperate has led him to begin and carry on the process of consolidating the media and creative sector in order to increase its competitiveness and to reinforce its development. For that purpose he has initiated the first Polish cluster for media and creative industries – the Creative Communication Cluster.

As the Vice-Chairman he was responsible for national projects – one of the main pillars of company’s activities and an indicator of strategic development. With the remaining board members he conducted the process of company’s re-organisation which allowed the company to better adjust to the requirements of public sector in terms of the changes in organising the process of public procurement and development of EU schemes.

Mateusz Halicki holds a PhD degree in economic sciences.

Izabela Barczyk-Olszewska

Finance Director 

Izabela Barczyk-Olszewska began her professional career as an analyst at an international fuel company. Later, she transferred to the public sector to work at one of the agencies implementing EU programmes. Soon after she became the department head, where she was responsible for EU programmes in farming and food industry.

She has been working at Ecorys Polska since 2007. From the very beginning she was responsible for all the accounting and finance of the company. Her long-term experience in national and international undertakings ensures efficient and effective financial implementation of externally funded projects, including long-term re-granting programmes.

Izabela Barczyk-Olszewska graduated from the Economic Academy in Poznan with an MA in economics. She also attended a PhD course at the Warsaw School of Economics.
